Configuring POP3 Retrieval
| The POP3 retrieval option enables a user to use the one email account to manage incoming emails from multiple POP3 email accounts. This improves productivity as a user only needs to access one email system whether via the PC or webmail to view emails from multiple accounts.
The POP3 Retrieval option downloads (via POP3) email from an external mail account into your Creative Answers email account. You will need the username and password for each POP3 account you wish to add. To configure this option please follow these instructions:
- Log into webmail at http://bizmail.creativeanswers.com.au/
- Go to: Settings
- Go to: My POP Retrieval
- Click New
- Enter the POP3 server: eg. mail.example.com. This would have been provided by your email service provider.
- Enter Port: 110 (Default)
- Enter your username
- Enter your password
- Options: Select if you are required to authenticate via APOP, or if you want to Leave a copy of your messages on the server
- Specify where you want the messages stored. Typically users select Inbox.
