This article is applicable only to customers using the bizmail.creativeanswers.com.au mail service who have full domain administration control.

Mailing lists cannot be included the Global Address List.  This limitation requires alternate means of communicating the mailing lists to staff.  This article discusses a workaround solution and its limitations.

The workaround solution requires you to create a user account using the name you wish added to the Global Address List.  You then create the mailing list using an alternate or abbreviated name.  You can then auto forward the user account to the mailing list.  It is recommended that you mark to emails in the user account for automatic deletion on forwarding otherwise the user account will need to be regularly cleared of emails.
