What is wwwroot folder

Each hosted domain name has its own folder where your web site is stored.  The top level folder or root folder used to store your web site is called wwwroot.

The root directory also has sub-folders.  Sub-folders are created for use by your web site, for virtual directories and for subdomains.

You should load your web site into the wwwroot folder or the sub-folders if using a virtual directory or subdomains.

You can access this folder by using theControl Panel File Manager or by creating an FTP account.
