| A domain alias inherits the same email settings and accounts as its hosted domain. Therefore, messages can be sent to an email account @ the hosted domain or @ its alias. For example a site that has abc.com.au as a hosted domain and xyz.com.au as an alias can receive email as admin@abc.coma.u or admin@xyz.com.au but both of these email addresses will utilise the same email account, thus you cannot set unique settings or receive separate messages sent to either "admin" email address. To configure a domain alias, please use the Control Panel. |
