Reducing SPAM messages
| Some tips to decrease the amount of spam are:
- Use unique, non-published email addresses as your personal primary email contacts. Email accounts such as contact, support, billing, etc. are common targets for spammers because these addresses are usually automatically sent spam at all domain names.
- Email addresses maybe used on your website but keep them as separate email profiles so that it may not be as large of a concern that they receive spam.
- Email addresses published on your website will tend to receive more spam because this makes the email address public knowledge for spammers to easily access. Reduce the number of email addresses on your site by using forms.
- Do not use *catch all* on your email accounts. *Catch all* will cause all messages sent to your domain that pass through our spam firewall, even if it is sent to an invalid email account as it is delivered to the catch all account. This will significantly increase the amount of spam your receive at the *catch all* account.
