My outgoing emails are failing

If you are receiving errors when sending emails but can receive emails, the following can be the cause:

  1. You have not configured the outgoing authentication to be the same as the incoming login details.  To correct this issue please follow the tutorials for setting up the email client on your PC.  
  2. Your ISP is blocking port 25 on your broadband or dial up connection.  To correct this issue, please go to the account settings on your PC email software and change the outgoing port from 25 to 825 for this email account.  This is usually found in the Advanced settings.
  3. Your firewall is blocking port 25 or 825 if you changed the port setting using the above.
