Email Client Setup on your PC
| Creative Answers has a feature rich email system that supports use of a email client such as Outlook, Endora, etc or Webmail. This knowledge management article focuses on the set up the email client on a PC.
We provide tutorials on the major email client software available for PCs. The tutorials show instruction by instruction how to set up your PC. The tutorials can be viewed at our Tutorials for Email Setup page.
The following settings are required for the email service.
- Incoming Mail Server: bizmail.creativeanswers.com.au
- Outgoing Mail Server: bizmail.creativeanswers.com.au
- User Name: your email account and domain information either provided to you or set up by you through the Control Panel. It is your full email address, for example, sales@creativeanswers.com.au or bob@localhardware.com.au.
- Your Name: Enter the name you wish other people to see when they receive your email.
- Email Address: your email account and domain information either provided to you or setup by you through the Control Panel. It is your full email address, for example, sales@creativeanswers.com.au or bob@localhardware.com.au. It is the same as the User Name.
- Account type can be POP3 or IMAP. Most individuals and small businesses use POP3.
If you want to use a secure connection (SSL) please use set the ports as follows:
- Incoming POP 995
- Incoming IMAP 993
- Outgoing 465
If your software is not part of the Tutorials and you need to set up the full configuration, you must also:
Set the Outgoing Authentication to use the Incoming Account details for authentication
