The DNN upgrade process is a simple process which you can obtain from the DNN documentation pack from http://www.dotnetnuke.com/.  Please be aware if you are using third party modules or skins it may not work correctly or fail entirely. If your current DNN portal is a critical production site, it is best to attempt the upgrade on your PC first in order to make sure the outcome will not result in downtime.

Please backup all files before you commence the upgrade.

Do NOT user the Application Installer as this will overwrite your web site.
